Our Houston maintenance teams showed up in force for the Houston Apartment Association’s recent Houston Maintenance Mania event and were backed by support from the inside staff who was able to make it out and show their support for the Venterra teams by cheering them on!
Maintenance Mania® is a national program offered by NAA and presenting sponsor HD Supply, in which maintenance technicians compete against each other in various skill-based table games based on common maintenance activities and a race car competition.game. Each NAA local affiliate has the opportunity to have their maintenance technicians compete individually to win various local awards and a chance to compete at the National Championship held at the annual NAA Education Conference & Exposition.

After the dust settled, we had one of our own make it into the event’s winners’ circle!
Big congrats to David Reyna, Service Manager at The Fairways at South Shore Harbor who went back to his community with a 2nd place win for his water heater assembly skills! Houston Maintenance Mania competition is always stiff, so this was definitely no easy task.
As you can see, David’s team was quick to recognize his new maintenance cred upon his return to the community!
